Using slack to interact with a website visitor

This feature enables seamless communication between users interacting with the AI and the sellers. It streamlines the messaging process using Slack and email notifications, enhancing customer engagement and response efficiency.

Note: Make sure Slack and email notifications are set up correctly in your admin so you receive notifications in the correct Slack channel. For more information about how to configure Slack please read this documentation.

How It Works

1. User Interaction with AI:

   • • • When a user interacts with the AI, a notification is sent to the seller via Slack.
         
     • The notification includes an option for the seller to reply by clicking the "Reply to User" button.

2. Seller Response:

   • • On clicking "Reply to User," the seller can compose a message for the user.
       

3. User Notification:

   • • • The next time the user visits the website, they will see the seller's message above the AI widget container.
         
     • Users can choose to dismiss the message or respond.

4. User Reply:

   • • • If the user decides to reply, they must enter their business email and message.
         
     • This reply triggers another notification to the seller via both email and Slack with the user's response and a full conversation preview.

5. Continued Communication:

   • • The seller can then choose to continue the conversation via email.
