Overview
The Salespeak integration with Zoho CRM helps your team manage and use customer data during Salespeak conversations.
The integration primarily works with the Contacts and Accounts modules in Zoho CRM. It allows Salespeak to retrieve existing customer information, create new records when needed, and log conversation activity back into Zoho.
Integration Features
Use Existing Zoho Records
When a lead shares their email address, Salespeak checks Zoho CRM for a matching Contact or Lead.
If a matching record is found, Salespeak uses the available Zoho data to tailor the conversation with context the prospect has already provided.
Create New Contacts
If Salespeak cannot find an existing Zoho record by email, it can automatically create a new Contact.
Salespeak can capture and send the following details to Zoho:
- First Name
- Last Name
- Account Name / Company
Create New Accounts
When Salespeak identifies the company a visitor is from, it can automatically create a matching Account in Zoho CRM.
Accounts are deduplicated by website domain to help prevent duplicate company records.
Account creation can be controlled through a toggle in the Account settings.
Track Conversations
After each chat session, Salespeak automatically creates a Task in Zoho CRM summarizing the interaction.
The Task is associated with the relevant Contact and Account.
Support Custom Modules
In addition to Contacts and Accounts, Salespeak can be configured to map additional Zoho modules when needed.
Setting Up the Integration
1. Authorize Zoho CRM
From the Salespeak Integrations page:
- Select Zoho CRM.
- Click Connect.
- Grant Salespeak permission in Zoho.
Salespeak automatically detects your Zoho data center, such as .com, .eu, .in, .com.au, and others.
Salespeak also refreshes tokens automatically, so periodic reconnection is not required.
2. Configure the Connection
Choose which Zoho modules Salespeak should work with.
By default, Contacts and Accounts are configured. Custom modules can be added if needed.
3. Map Your Data
Use the Contact and Account tabs to map Salespeak conversation data to your Zoho fields.
You can also set default field values.
The Notifications tab allows you to configure Slack or email alerts based on record rules.

Operational Flow
1. Retrieve Existing Records
When a lead provides their email address, Salespeak searches Zoho CRM for a matching Contact or Lead.
2. Use Retrieved Data
Salespeak uses the retrieved Zoho information to enrich the conversation and personalize the experience.
3. Update or Create Records
After the interaction, Salespeak writes relevant details back to Zoho CRM.
This may include:
- Updating or creating a Contact
- Optionally creating an Account
- Logging a summary Task
Security and Compliance
Salespeak follows strict security protocols to keep data transferred between Zoho CRM and Salespeak secure and confidential.
Salespeak is SOC 2 compliant.
